The Ordine dei Cavalieri del Tartufo e dei Vini d’Alba will be hosting the next International Congress June 4-7, 2020 in Langhe & Rodero – Piedmont, Italy with an optional extension following on June 8-10. Due to the configuration of the exceptional venues, space is limited and the FICB had to implement a selection procedure with its member organizations to fairly offer registration space to all brotherhoods. Fortunately, the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Vine did get the largest number of spaces of any brotherhood due to our history of supporting FICB events in the past. However, the number of spaces allocated is still less than what we expect to need to meet the desires of our members. The FICB has incorporated a registration system that will not be open until June 1, 2019, but to register one must have received a code. Our Brotherhood has, therefore, following the guidelines of the FICB, set up a system where members can indicate their interest in attending. The Grand Council will review all applications and will notify those members who are selected and supply them with the necessary code. We will maintain a waiting list in hopes of being able to allocate additional spaces should members’ plans change or we are able to secure additional spaces from FICB in a second round.
For additional information, please see the Grand Council notice that was sent to Commanders and to Members with email addresses on file with the National Office or you may also visit the FICB website at www.winebrotherhoods.org.
